How can an expanding Earth shrink?

Recently New Scientist magazine published an article titled "Honey, we shrunk the Earth". Since then we have been contacted by our readers asking how this fits in with our Expanding Earth model. Well the answer is really quite simple. The Earth is not shrinking, we are just measuring it more accurately! New Scientist actually states this in their article:
"However, the new data does not mean the Earth has shrunk. The new figure is simply more accurate, thanks to more accurate measurements, more data and better geophysical models."
So there is nothing at odds here, our Expanding Hollow Earth theory remains compatible with all currently observable phenomenon.
